I have three children to costume this year. Everyone wants to be a princess. I have a 5 month old, a 2 year old, and a 4 year old. The eldest is leaning towards Ariel. I was cruising ebay and nearly croaked at the prices! Making the costumes isn't an option, I don't have the time. Anyone know where I can get inexpensive costumes?

Check out a used/vintage clothing store.  You may not be able to do Ariel, but the generic princess thing will work.

Well, I'm definetly going to hit the children's consignment shop. I know to steer clear of those Halloween mega-stores that pop up about now. They are way overpriced.

Have you thought about renting costumes?  The prices can be reasonable and it could open up a world of opportunities.

Also, check with friends or co workers or watch yard sales.
