this is a topic i had asked to be posted on another forum because of the very famious vanessa owner of vox cosmetics the question to this was:

What is the best way to take care of my brushes. Can you give me tips on how to wash them and with what?

Vanessa of Vox Cosmetics replys to say
This is a great question. Cleaning your brushes is very important. Most people tend to neglect this task.

Daily Brush Cleaning
Use a brush cleaner that does not contain harsh additives.

Tip: Take a Kleenex and spray the brush cleaner on it. Then swipe the brush on the saturated area.

Monthly Brush Cleaning
Wash your brushes every 2-4 weeks with a non-harsh shampoo or face wash. Rinse and press out excess water and lay flat to dry.

Hint: If it looks dirty, it is dirty. Make sure to wash your brushes on a regular basis.
