I grabbed this from another forum because I think lots of people will find it helpful. This site has a last of free software from Microsoft. Here's the link to the goodies: http://abduljaleel.wordpress.com/2006/08/26/150-free-windows-programs/

I like to get these free offers and save them for the holidays when we have a larger crowd.  It's nice to have a "coffee bar" with a variety of flavors without having to buy the whole can!

Oh my gosh, what a terrific idea. I love flavored coffee and usually use these samples up as soon as I get them. But I'm not the only one in the family who loves trying new flavors. Saving them to share is a great idea.

ONe of the most proven methods I've used (in addition to the ones listed here) is to shop just ONCE a week.  That's it - no stopping in for a gallon of milk, loaf of bread, etc.  If we run out, it's jsut too bad and we wait until the next week. This has made me be more contentrated on my shopping list and planning meals ahead.

We're so used to just popping into the store, sometimes a convenience store with higher prices, to grab a carton of milk or head of lettuce, that we don't think about it. I've suspected one of the reasons I spend so much on groceries is because I do this. I'm going to be more hardcore about not doing it from now on.

I like to use generic foods if they're going to be an ingredient in something else or if the name brand of an item seems outrageously expensive.

I generally don't mind generic paper towels and napkins. I don't use the tissues. They don't seem as soft as the national brands.

This is especially good for lovers of flavored coffee.

Click on "Get a free sample" in the lower left. There's a choice of Vanilla Biscotti or Lively Columbian.
